Taiwan has joined the growing list of countries to ban cosmetic products from being tested on animals. The ban, part of a new bill proposed in April last year, was passed by parliament in Taiwan last week.
The legislation, which comes into effect in 2019, bans both testing of finished products, and their ingredients.
