Inspiration does not hit when you need it but when it wants too. Today week, April 24th is World Day for Animals in Laboratories. Every year I try to organise a small awareness campaign online, like last year I asked rabbit pet owners to send me photos of their rabbit who later got featured on LovinMalta. After a weekend without TV, laptop and mobile, I came up with an idea. I thought of trying a cruelty-free Challenge where you and I can share photos or other content types of our pets, favourite cruelty-free products and brands. This way we raise awareness on why one should consider living cruelty-free and how easy it is to do so.
My idea was more for Instagram but you can take part in other social networks.
The challenge is only 5 days long as I trying to spend a screen-free weekend. I tried to keep the daily categories as open as possible, so you are free to be as creative as you want. The categories are:
- MON 20.4 – PET
I thought of starting with this as a dedication.
Example. I would dedicate this challenge to my pet rabbit. So a photo of your pet, your favourite animal, a photo of an animal you have on your gallery, etc. - TUES 21.4 – MAKEUP PRODUCT
Could also be anything. I tried not to limit them to one particular product as some don’t use certain makeup products, so I left it open. Could also be more than one.
Example. Favourite cruelty-free makeup product, cruelty-free makeup product you are currently using, etc - WED 22.4 – CRUELTY-FREE BRAND
Could also be more than one.
Example. A favourite cruelty-free brand, a cruelty-free brand you noticed you have a lot of products from, etc - THURS 23.4 – SKINCARE PRODUCT
Could also be more than one.
Example. Favourite cruelty-free skincare product, cruelty-free skincare product you are currently using, etc - FRI 23.4 – HAIR CARE PRODUCT
Could also be more than one.
Example. Favourite cruelty-free hair care product, cruelty-free hair care product you are currently using, etc
So that I am able to view and share your posts please tag and hashtag my social media handles. Will I be seeing your cruelty-free posts next week?
