Is Neutrogena cruelty-free in 2022?

My mother is a fan of the Neutrogena hand cream. I don’t know what she finds in it. The only thing it seems to be doing is to add a protective coating but the skin on her hands seem to be getting even harsher. If it were really treating the skin, I would say, ok I understand why she likes it but no the skin of her hands is getting worse than better. In my opinion, that was a waste of animal experiments. You guessed it! Today I will be investigating whether Neutrogena is cruelty-free.

Is Neutrogena certified cruelty-free?

No, PETA lists Neutrogena in their animal testing list.

Is Neutrogena owned by a certified cruelty-free parent?

No, Neutrogena is owned by Johnson & Johnson. Yes, the corporation that is known to be often sued for using ingredients that could cause cancer. PETA lists Johnson & Johnson in their animal testing list.

What is Neutrogena’s cruelty-free status?

Neutrogena conducts animal testing when authorities require it, and PETA lists it on their animal testing brand list. This means that Neutrogena is not cruelty-free.

Which brands should I support instead?
