Event: The Pink Fashion Show – June 2015

Last week I had a surprise in my mailbox, I was one of the 10 winners to win an invite to The Pink Fashion Show. At first I wasn’t sure whether to go or not as on the same evening I had another event which I didn’t want to miss. However in the end I managed to enjoy both events and I am glad that I didn’t give The Pink Fashion Show a miss.

The Pink Fashion Show is an event organised twice a year by Pink Magazine, one of Malta’s popular women magazines.

On my way from St Julians to Savio College, I didn’t find much traffic except for when I arrived in Rabat. I was in panic mode, continuously checking the clock in my car, worrying that I might arrive late and I wouldn’t be allowed to go in.

Luckily, Pink Magazine planned the event really well as they started with the reception and concluded with the fashion show. The event started kind of a blogger’s mini-meet-up as during the reception I met and talked with Lara from Every Beauty Addict’s Bible, got introduced to Sarah from The Chic Scrapbook, Dorianne from AskDorianne as well as other friends whom I haven’t seen in a long time.

Lara, Sarah, Dorianne and I agreed to take part in the Magnum Malta facebook competition where if we win we could win a handbag from Accessorize. It would be nice if you could like our photo and help us win, but if we don’t win it’s still a nice photo to keep as a reminder of a great event <3

There was a variety of finger food and drinks. In similar events I tend to switch back to pescetarian as you never know whether they would cater for vegetarians. If I hadn’t done so that evening, I would have been either hungry or drunk cause all dishes that passed my way happen to contain meat (including fish).

The show started with a kids fashion show from F&F where kid models were jumping and doing other kids activities as part of their dance routine. It followed with teens and adults from F&F, Guess Jeans, Karen Millen, Marks & Spencer, Miss Selfridge, Optika, Punt Roma and River Island.

Check out the photos below to live or re-live the experience.

The event as a whole was fun and well planned, I wish to thank PINK magazine for the opportunity to attend this exclusive fashion show and I really wish I would be lucky to be invited to their next one.

That evening I went back home with a stronger friendship with the bloggers and 3 goodie bags 😛

Disclaimer: I wasn’t asked or paid to write this post. The reason I wrote it is because it was an event I enjoyed and wanted to share my joy with my readers.
