Up until 2016 Delicata couldn’t say that all wines from particular ranges are vegan so they shared a list on their blog. I had reshared this 2016 Delicata vegan wine list on my blog about 2 years ago. Now they are confident to confirm that all their wines since 2017, with the label reading DOK Malta, DOK Gozo or IGT Maltese Islands are vegan. To make it easier for you, I will list all of these wines below.

A tropical fruit flavoured, dry white wine produced entirely from Malta grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes, hand-picked from individual pocket-sized vineyards. These Malta grown Merlot grapes are handpicked from individual pocket-sized vineyards. This full-bodied, elegant robust red wine has been matured and softened in French Oak Barriques. This wine may contain a natural sediment deposited as a result of its ageing process. Ideally, stand the wine upright for some time before serving or decanting. - Gran Cavalier Syrah Rizerva, D.O.K. A rich, robust, silky red wine produced entirely from hand-picked Maltese Syrah grapes. This soft, leathery, full-bodied wine with its gamey flavours and ripe yet super-soft tannins is matured for more than one year in French oak barrels in the 17th Century Delicata cellars and then aged in bottle for more than 6 months.

This lush, full-bodied and soft Malta grown Chardonnay is endowed with ripe exotic fruit and subtle hints of pineapple. This award-winning Grand Vin de Hauteville Chardonnay is oak-aged. This fuller flavoured, dry white wine is made from the designer grape Viognier. It is an unoaked, delightfully fresh wine with an appealing floral and peachy nose. A full-bodied, fruit-packed blend of Shiraz which fills out the middle palate which is dominated by blackcurrant flavours of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This barrel matured, robust wine has good length and an elegant finish. - Grand Vin de Hauteville Cabernet Sauvignon, D.O.K. MALTA
