As for this blog series, I don’t want to focus on only brands that support animal testing, today I will be featuring a brand that is available on the CrueltyFreeMalta.com shop. At the same time, you get an idea of what my process is before I allow a brand to sell on my multivendor cruelty-free shop. Today I am starting with Green People. Is Green People certified cruelty-free?
Yes, Green People is PETA certified cruelty-free.
Does Green People test on animals?
- “We have never carried out or commissioned animal testing of any raw material, cosmetic ingredient or finished product. All Green People products are tested on human volunteers. We do not and will not use ingredients that have been made by manufacturers who carry out or commission animal testing of cosmetic ingredients.”
This tells us that Green People has never tested on animals, they have never paid anyone to test on animals from them, and they don’t source from companies who test on animals.
Is Green People owned by a certified cruelty-free parent?
From what I could find Green People is still owned by its original owners. So, Green People is owned by a company that is certified cruelty-free.
Does Green People sell in China?
On the Green People list of overseas distributors, China is listed as a country that has no Green People distributor and a country where they don’t deliver to. So no, Green People do not sell in China.
What is Green People’s cruelty-free status?
From all this information that I could find, I can confirm that Green People is certified cruelty-free.
Is Green People vegan?
Green People have a lot of vegan products but Green People is not yet fully vegan. If you would be interested in Green People’s vegan products will try to list a Green People vegan list in the upcoming weeks.
