Beauty comes from within … The introduction

Stephanie Portelli is the first Miss World Malta 2013 contestant who openly supports cruelty-free products. A few weeks ago, Stephanie contacted me to ask whether Cruelty-Free Malta would like to sponsor her for the Miss World Malta 2013.

The offer seemed attractive but the drawback was that sponsors needed to provide a video which will be shown during the contest. Although people might think that by having an e-shop one gets rich, the reality is that Cruelty-Free Malta hasn’t yet reached the break-even point. Therefore, since we couldn’t afford spending money for the sponsorship plus creating a video, I passed this offer to one of my cruelty-free Lily Lolo Mineral Cosmetics supplier who luckily had already a ready made video to show during the event.

However, Cruelty-Free Malta will be featured on the booklet that will be given out on the Miss World Malta 2013, which will be held on Saturday 27th April at the Grandmaster’s suite, Hilton Hotel, St Julians. The cost for this advert was paid straight from my wallet, so make sure you look for it and use the coupon codes listed! 😉

Although Cruelty-Free Malta didn’t technically sponsor her, Stephanie is still active in supporting us through our e-shop and our facebook page.

In the following days, I will be interviewing Stephanie so that we know her better. Make sure to visit our blog regularly!

ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT!!! Miss World Malta 2013 Televoting is now on… Vote for our cruelty-free contestant by sending an sms on 50615022 with the text Stephanie Portelli … The more you vote the more chance you have to win gifts weekly! 😉
