Cruelty-free Beauty Box July 2018 Unboxing

Cruelty-free Box July 2018

Starting from the Cruelty-free Beauty Box July 2018, I have decided to remove one product and replace it with samples. The reason behind this is to try to make it easier to include more product types. Apart from that, I’ve set the total worth of products to be €30 and over. It seems that it is currently unrealistic to expect a very good discount on natural, cruelty-free and also vegan products. Hopefully, starting from €30 is realistic enough. The aim of the box is to discover cruelty-free products. However, I wouldn’t think it’s worth it that you pay €20 and get €20 worth of products. You would have might as well bought the products yourself in that case.

What’s inside the cruelty-free beauty box July 2018

Bottega Verde SOL Protective hair oil with Linseed oil, sunscreen (natural, vegan) €14.99

This product is absolutely indispensable for anyone who wants to have vibrant and protected hair even under the sun. This sunscreen product is applied directly to the hair before and during exposure to the sun. Furthermore it helps to untangle the hair and is a very valid help against dry and frizzy hair in windy conditions, by the pool or sea. Its formula is enriched with Linseed oil, but it is not greasy.

Bottega Verde nail polish (natural, vegan) €4.99

Shiny enough to rival the “gel effect” of a professional manicure, this enamel boasts a special formula with an exceptionally glossy, ultra bright-finish and consistent colour. Available in stunning fashionable colours, it comes with a large, flat brush that guarantees flawless application.

Fresh Therapies Natural Nail Polish Remover (natural, vegan) €2.50

This natural polish remover is not harmful to you or your nails in anyway. It will not damage the natural oil within your nails. Helping them to remain much more healthy.

Handmade Naturals Face Cream (natural, vegan) €18.50

All face moisturisers are free from petrolatum, artificial fragrance, chemical ingredients & preservatives, naturally. They are natural and use the fabulous healing and moisturising properties of virgin shea butter, rosehip & jojoba oils.

Handmade Naturals Toner (natural, vegan) €9.75

Every single ingredient that goes into Handmade Naturals products is natural. The word ‘natural’ could be a little vague and what one person believes to be a natural ingredient, doesn’t necessarily match someone else’s criteria. Handmade Naturals view is that natural is everything that is not a man-made synthetic, is either found directly in nature or derived from nature’s herbs, fruits or vegetables and is of beneficial value to our body and skin.

The Konjac Sponge Company Facial Puff Sponge (natural, vegan) €12.99

Ideal for all the family, the bestselling Konjac Sponge deeply cleanses, removes blackheads and gently exfoliates the skin. The unique net like structure of the vegetable fibres helps to stimulate blood flow and promote skin cell renewal.

Bema Baby Box

This month Debbies Baby Centre was generous to offer us free boxes for this box. This helped me save 70c and which went to products. Together with that they gave us some samples which do not have to be used on babies. I sometimes do use baby products on myself because if it is safe for a baby then it is safe for me.

Please note that in the box you should find only 4 from the above list and some Bema samples. The total worth of full-sized products received is over €35.

This month I was a bit in luck as Facebook offered me €30 in ads credit. I took this opportunity to advertise the box for free and reach more cruelty-free people. So maybe for the 2019 boxes, I should consider maybe €1 from every box to be dedicated to Facebook ads expenses.

Also, I don’t know if you have noticed but I have linked the products on this page. I think that this might be helpful in case you want to rebuy or know more information about the products.

Please note that the last box will be delivered in August so  I will cancel your subscription after the July payment.

Thank you for your contribution. Should you have any suggestions for the next box, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Please do contact me if you are a supplier of cruelty-free and vegan products, and want to contribute to any future boxes.
