Green People Citrus & Aloe Vera Toothpaste Review

Green People Citrus & Aloe Vera Toothpaste Review

I usually opt for mint flavoured toothpaste. After I found out that this Green People Citrus & Aloe Vera Toothpaste is a bestseller in my shop, I got curious and bought one for myself.

Is Green People cruelty-free?

Apart from being organic and natural, Green People is also certified cruelty-free by PETA. Most of their products are also vegan.

My thoughts on the Green People Citrus & Aloe Vera Toothpaste

Pros

  • It is vegan
Green People have a mix of vegan and not vegan toothpaste. The Green People Citrus & Aloe Vera Toothpaste is one of their vegan toothpaste.
  • A mild taste of orange
I usually look for mint flavour and not a fan of other toothpaste flavours. However, I still attempted to buy this toothpaste. The orange taste is very mild and pleasant, kind of reminds me of Kwarezimal.
  • The paste doesn’t look synthetic
Usually, toothpaste is pure white. However, this and some other natural and organic toothpaste that I tried and love aren’t white. This Green People toothpaste is on the white side but not pure white. Which makes me more confident that it is natural.
  • Doesn’t lather
After 10 years of buying natural toothpaste, when I try a completely new toothpaste and it lathers, I start feeling insecure. So I love the fact that this Green People Citrus & Aloe Vera toothpaste doesn’t lather.
  • Has other ethical goodness
As I mentioned earlier Green People is not only cruelty-free and natural, it is also organic. Till now there is nothing more ethical than all of those features combined. Apart from that their toothpaste range is SLS-free and mostly fluoride-free. This toothpaste is also free from palm oil, gluten, nuts, soya and paraben.

Cons

  • Double packaging
Not only it comes in a plastic tube but the tube is packed in a cardboard box. I would prefer if they limited to one packaging. However, once I was told that double packaging is required to protect the product should the outside package break on transit.

Rate 4/5

It is a definite rebuy when I get the chance to visit Malta again. Don’t get me wrong I still love my favourite Weleda toothpaste. It’s nice to have a variety sometimes and in this case, I have.
