Ride Or Die Makeup Tag… Cruelty-Free Version

Ride or Die Makeup Tag

I haven’t done a tag post for a while. Thank you, Caroline, from Diva Inside for tagging me to do the Jacklyn Hill Ride or Die Makeup Tag, and sorry for being 4 months late. I was thinking of filming this post but between I couldn’t find a sunny day and being busy, I ended up postponing this post. I have now decided to write it, but unfortunately, I have noticed that there are some makeup product types which I don’t yet use. You will find out which ones, soon. Whenever I know, I will mention if the product is vegan-friendly.

Primer: I don’t currently use any primer. If I am using my mineral makeup, I apply my moisturiser then my foundation, or else I use Pupa Milano BB Cream which replaces the moisturiser, sun protection cream, primer and foundation. I would love to know which vegan primers you like.

Foundation: My all time favourite foundation is the Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation. It’s the best foundation for my oily skin as I find that it absorbs the oil leaving my skin balanced. Once you start using this foundation it’s hard to go back to liquid foundation. Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation is vegan.

Concealer: Haven’t got a favourite yet. I am looking for a cruelty-free and vegan concealer which gives high coverage and is gentle on skin. Any suggestions?

Face Powder: I am not picky on my face powder. The essence mattifying compact powder does a good job and it’s affordable. If I am not mistaken it is also vegan-friendly.

Undereye Setting Powder: Again, any suggestions for a good cruelty-free and vegan one? I currently use face powder under my eyes.

Blush: I like Lily Lolo Mineral Blush in Clementine. It’s a coral blush which makes it good for any shades of makeup you use. However, it’s not vegan.

Bronzer and Highlight: I love the Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo is the first contour and highlight palette. It’s vegan. Recently I’ve received and tried the Pupa Milano‘s Contouring & Strobing Palette and I love it too.

Mascara: Every new mascara I try is not as good as Pupa Milano Vamp! Mascara. It’s my favourite mascara and I can’t wait to get rid of all of the mascaras that I’ve received in goodie bags so that I go back to this greatly missed mascara. I have recently bought the Pupa Milano Vamp! Extreme but I’ve heard it’s not as good as the Vamp!, will have to check it out myself and see if the gossip is true.

Lipstick: When Autumn starts, I like to apply the Pupa Milano I’m Lipstick in Hot Burgundy. Unfortunately, it’s a limited edition of 2 Autumns ago. However, if you like this shade, Pupa Milano seem to have redone a similar shade for last Autumn’s collection.

Liquid Lipstick: I have just bought my first liquid lipstick. It’s Sleek Makeup Matte Me Lip Cream in Shabby Chic, vegan and it’s exactly how I imagined it to be. I can’t wait to buy more shades!

Gloss: I don’t like glosses much as I hate it when it’s windy and my hair sticks on my lips but if I had to apply a lipgloss I would apply essence XXXL shine lipgloss in 01 pure chic on top of my lips or lipstick. This shade is vegan-friendly.

Lashes: I’ve recently tried the essence lashes to impress 03 half lashes and I liked them. They are vegan and ideal for anyone who is starting to use false lashes as you don’t need to cut them.

Eyeshadow Palette: I like the vegan Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye Palette. I see it as an affordable and natural alternative to the Urban Decay Naked palette, since the Urban Decay one skips my budget.

Setting Spray: I don’t use a setting spray but if I did I would try the recipe my make up teacher suggested. A mist-bottle, half filled with toner and half filled with water.

Perfume: I love essence cosmetics’ fragrances, they are affordable and have a nice scent. I currently own the essence like best friends forever fragrance.

Those are my cruelty-free ride or die products.

I would like to tag Martina from All Things Fabulous, Marija from All Things Lady, Lyndsey from Splashes of Looks, Sarah from What Sarah Writes, Jade from As Told By Jade and any v/blogger who wishes to do this tag post. I would love to see your ride or die cruelty-free makeup products.
