Ever wondered how much soap you have consumed in a year and how many soap bottles have you thrown away? I feel guilty for every plastic bottle I throw away, that is why I converted to soap bars. If you’re not confident with soap bars as maybe you end up wasting it in a week due to too much water, I would suggest you try out a konjac sponge. A konjac sponge is a plant sponge which you can use alone or with soap. In my opinion, it’s the best cleansing product to take when you’re on holiday. I have been using konjac sponges from the Konjac Sponge Company since when they were available in Malta. Recently the Konjac Sponge Company have launched 3 product ranges; the Tattoo Sponge, the Rainforest Collection Mini Pore Refiners and my most favourite the Mythical Creatures Sponges.
These new sponges are the ideal sustainable gifts for any occasion.
Use the sponge once or twice a day during the first couple of days of healing (prior to any scabbing or peeling.) Your skin will be kept clean and moisturised as the sponge will not over strip the skin of its natural oils, unlike most other products. It is so simple to use, hygienic and can easily be sterilised in between uses by boiling in water for two minutes.
The ideal size for targeting and refining pores, it reaches deep into creases around the nose and chin where larger pores can develop. It is also perfect for refining, defining and nourishing even the most sensitive skin.
These petite collectable refiners make great little skincare gifts – after all, your skin deserves it!
The package includes a full size, 100% pure facial sponge and a unicorn design detachable bathroom hook to store the sponge when not in use.
Quickly hydrate the Konjac Sponge with warm water until soft and bouncy, then massage around the face and delicate eye area to experience an intense cleanse. When you’re done, make sure to squeeze out the excess water and hang it by the string on your new Unicorn hook!
The first reason why this collection is my favourite is that I love the mermaid/unicorn packaging for these sponges. The other reason is that they come with a hook. I don’t always have a hook where to hang my sponge. However, now the Konjac Sponge Company has made sure I do. The Konjac Sponge Company have not just added the hook. They have also made sure that it looks good by including the unicorn/mermaid design also around the hook.
So as soon as I use up my current sponge I will buy one of these Mystical Creatures sponges. Maybe by then, they would consider having also cute bunny designs! I LOVE BUNNIES!!!
The Konjac Sponge Company products are cruelty-free and vegan. If you’re residing in Malta, you can buy konjac sponges from the Blends of Nature website.
Which of these new products would you like to try? What do you like about them?
